I came across this article in Atlanta Agent Magazine that discusses a shift in business strategy for real estate brokerages. Having worked with the full spectrum of real estate professionals, I have been privy to many horror stories taking place in the early years of a real estate career. It certainly can be a lone-wolf profession if agents lack the proper resources and guidance when they are first starting out. RISMedia wrote an article on ways to provide new agents with a successful foundation. It delves into assisting agents in creating customized business plans based on their career and income goals while keeping up with their progress and having an open door.

Passing the real estate license exam is merely the first step on the long journey of becoming a producing agent. Providing effective CE classes, low-cost marketing tools (that actually generate quality leads!), and real estate mentors goes a long way in cultivating a force of agents that close deals.
